Payment and policies

  • Payment: Packages can be paid monthly or per term. Harmony Trees accepts major credit cards and electronic payments (contact studio for current options).
  • Cancellation and make-up: Harmony Tree requests a 24-hour notice for cancellations. Make-up lessons are scheduled when possible, per studio policy.
  • Registration: New student registration requires a completed enrollment form and payment for the first package or trial lesson.

  • How quickly can I schedule a trial lesson?

    Generally within 1–2 weeks, depending on availability. Evening and Saturday slots fill quickly; call(206) 450-2550to book sooner.

  • What should I bring to the first lesson?

    Bring any previous music books, a notebook for homework, and a pencil. If you have a digital device for note-taking or recording practice, that’s helpful. Students should have access to a keyboard or piano for practice at home.

  • Do you offer online lessons?

    Harmony Tree primarily offers in-studio lessons to maximize learning with in-person guidance. Online lessons may be available upon request for students with extenuating circumstances; contact the studio for details.

  • Are lessons appropriate for adults with no prior experience?

    Yes. Many adult students begin with no background and make steady progress through a customized curriculum and realistic practice plans.

  • Can I request a specific instructor?

    We’ll do our best to accommodate instructor requests based on availability. The lead instructor handles most initial trials and placements.
